The Proposal

Found themselves back in Tennessee, where so much of their story had already unfolded. This time, he got down on one knee. And she said yes.

Getting there: Chattanooga Airport about 30 minutes from the venue, Knoxville Airport about 1 hour 20. Where to stay: The Westin Chattanooga, 801 Pine Street, and The Read House Hotel, 107 W Martin Luther King Blvd.

Getting Around

Hire a car or use a ride share service — public transportation to Highlands Chapel is limited.

Allow about 25 minutes for the drive from downtown Chattanooga, and plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony.

While you’re in town, explore the beauty of Chattanooga. Stroll along the Tennessee Riverwalk, visit Lookout Mountain and Rock City, discover the shops and restaurants in Northshore, or take in the views from Sunset Rock.
